Kit design lacks… the rest of the kit.

"The kit includes a nice metal T that doesn’t make sense unless you intend to connect both PCV adapter together to blow oil onto… wherever. The hoses are long enough to do just that and nothing more. The adapters are nice and should’ve just purchased those as I had to source everything else locally to complete the job."

Fitting too close to sensor

"The fitting for the passenger side valve cover is too close to the fuel pressure sensor preventing proper connection with the hose. See photo attached. I tried both fittings and this is the only one that had a chance of working. It has the nipple welded at an angle. For it to work the angle needs to be increased another 20 degrees or so. Making the fitting 2 inches longer would make it much easier to insert the hose. I had to clean up the old fitting and adapt it to the bigger hose in the kit. I bought it for my 2004. 5 LLY Duramax and the kit is labelled for a 2004. 5 -05 GM Duramax."

Quality stuff

"Happy with my purchase. Wish there were some installation instructions or photos or a video online as I wasn't sure where to put the insulating material or exactly how to route the hoses. It would have made the job a little bit easier."

Pcv route to oil catch can

"This kit worked great on my 2008 Duramax. Do know why it's kitted for only 2004. 5-05???"

John W. (5/5)

Great product, great price, fantastic shipping

"Got a great product for much cheaper than other places. The real great thing was I needed it asap and next day air shipping was available for an incredibly reasonable price. Will buy from again."

Q&A

Where does the insulating sleeve go? I can't find an installation video or any photographs of this repair kit installed on a truck
The orange heat shield goes on the short section of black hose (driver side) that is routed under the turbo hot pipe which gets about 400 degrees. -Mark
