The fluid level is at the same place with the PML pan as with the stock pan

IMPORTANT NOTES:

Always check your truck to verify your configuration and clearance. Configurations vary and there is a restocking fee for returned parts.
This pan replaces the stock pan that accommodates the additional internal filter. Ford updated the transmission and transmission pan in 2008. 2008 is a transition year. The 2008 and newer models have a larger transmission pan and an additional filter is located inside the pan. The middle of the pan is about 4 1/2 inches wide. On the 2003 to 2007 stock pan, the middle is about 3 inches wide.
