Description
If you are looking for a bumper that breaks the mold then look no further than the Outback rear bumper for the Jeep Gladiator. We pushed away from our traditional styling to design a bumper that flows with the rounded corners of the Gladiator bed giving the bumper a timeless styling unlike anything else on the market. The slim profile and aluminum construction adds additional clearance while decreasing weight over the factory bumper and helps create a streamlined appearance that definitely stands out from the rest. The Outback bumper is designed to work seamlessly with the factory hitch, sensors, tow hooks, and license plate lights preserving the full functionality of your vehicle without any compromises. The license plate lights are set flush with the face of the bumper to keep them out of harm's way and the sensors plug directly into the new mounts. If you do not have sensors caps are provided to cover the sensor holes. Maintaining the factory tow hooks was a key design element in the development of this bumper. For customers with a single tow hook a second one is available on our site for purchase. The pocket that the tow hook sits in is kept tight to help keep tow straps from sliding during use. REAR BUMPER WITH SLIDES For those looking for even more protection a bed slider has been designed that perfectly compliments the rounded corners of the bumper. The slider is constructed of .1875” and .250” A-36 steel and 1.75” x .120 wall DOM tubing giving this slider uncompromised strength. In order to ensure the slider has the foundation to stand up to the rigors of extreme trail abuse we also built an entirely new mount that ties the slider to the frame. The frame mount uses all the factory holes for installation so no drilling is required. To help fine tune the install of the slider left enough adjustability in the mount and slider to allow for tailored alignment to the bumper. The support system on the back of the bumper has built in zip tie locations and holes for the factory fir trees to be reused and all the sensor locations work with the factory harness lengths eliminating any re-wiring. There is one piece of sheet metal on the hitch cover that does have to be trimmed however that can be handled with a cut off wheel or saw and does not require precise measuring.

About Nemesis Industries
The path that lead to the creation of Nemesis Industries started many years ago when the team members, that comprise their company, were paying their dues apprenticing as a tool and die maker, sweeping floors at 4wd shops, attending school, building vehicles and of course out on the trail having fun. Years of honing their skills followed humble beginnings, but it was the time spent in the trenches that provided the appreciation they have. It comes as no surprise that designing and building things is what they love to do.

Along with many fellow, hard working Americans several of the now current employees found ourselves unemployed after the off-road manufacturer they were working for went under. One positive aspect of unemployment is that it does provide one with plenty of time to congregate with old and new friends at a local pub. After several of these gatherings they came to a couple of conclusions. First, they needed something to occupy their new found free time, not to mention provide an income stream to help with those pesky mortgage / Jeep payments. Second, the passion to innovate and manufacture top quality components still burned hot in their bellies. In late November 2008 they decided to put up or shut up and began composing a business plan. All of the planning and hard work paid off in December 2008 when Nemesis Industries was incorporated in the great state of Colorado. There is a long way to go but the future looks bright.

The founding premise of what originally brought forth the Nemesis name was the desire to bring affordable and innovative solutions to the market. And so they have. To this day, Nemesis still delivers on that personal touch providing top notch, first to market products designed to last as long as your Jeep, and then some. You will never find a cheap knock off component adorning the Nemesis name. For them, its all about finding a need for a product, usually while on the trail, then meticulously designing, building, and testing it before bringing it to market. You will never be disappointed with a name like Nemesis.
