Description
The Mean Green Gear Reduction Starter for your Cummins is the answer to all of your 07.5-19 Ram starter problems. The Mean Green Starter provides 100% more torque than an overweight stock starter. With a 4.4 to 1 gear reduction, roller bearing support, and an integrated solenoid, the Mean Green Starter can crank any engine no matter how high its static compression.The Mean Green Starter's 3" tool steel driveshaft is supported at both ends by bearings. The stainless steel pinion shaft is externally splined to mate with the larger diameter, internally splined driveshaft. Even the armature in the high-speed motor is supported at each end with bearings. All totaled, there are five bearings in the motor and gear assembly.

Great mean green starter

"I waited a week for it that sucked it happened at the worst time a week before the Christmas holiday had no jack in cold December it rained had to wait for the rain to stop had to squeeze myself underneath my ram 3500 in freezing cold weather with hardly no room got it installed but could not wire it because the started is setup different from the OEM starter had too take it back out to wire it to then bolted back lying down in a cold nyc street really made it difficult but I got it donere"
