WrenchConnected is an independent installation marketplace operating in partnership with Diesel Power Products.
After checkout, we route your vehicle info and part SKU to verified installation shops near you. Local installers review the job and submit competitive bids; you pick the shop you want based on price, reviews, and availability. Your name and email stay private until you select an installer.
You pay for the bid from your preferred shop. The full amount is shown before you confirm — installers cannot add charges without your written consent. Payments are processed securely by Stripe.
During bidding, shops see only your service ZIP code, vehicle year/make/model, and the part SKU — not your name, email, or address. Only the shop you select receives your contact details after payment. We never sell your personal information.

Are you interested in replacing and upgrading your steering and suspension for the absolute last time with a product that will not only last as long as the rest of your truck, but also improve the suspension and steering feel? Kryptonite products are over-engineered, made in the USA products and most are even backed by a lifetime warranty. The Kryptonite No Fine Print Lifetime Warranty specifically states "Kryptonite steering and suspension components are warrantied for life to their original purchaser. This warranty is against any manufacturer defects, premature wear or breakage. Race it, jump it, off road it, wreck it, lift it, lower it, sled pull it, I think you get it? We dont care. If you can break it we will replace it." That's a pretty bold statement and would require a company that builds a solid product to offer it and still be in business.
Maybe youve heard of Kryptonite, maybe not. For those that have not heard of Kryptonite, they are a steering and suspension manufacturer on a mission to offer the absolute best in steering and suspension options for trucks and even side by sides. Theyve spent years developing and perfecting these components, and all of them are proudly Made in the USA.
KRYPTONITE STEERINGMany would argue that Kryptonite got its foot in the door with their massive steering tie rods for Chevy 2500HD and 3500s, or maybe it was their upper control arms for this application. Maybe so, and wed have to agree they did a fantastic job in creating a bulletproof solution. From these initial proving grounds, Kryptonite has vastly expanded their portfolio in providing steering linkages for Ram and Fords, Lifetime Warranty Wheel Bearings, ball joints, centerlinks, pitman and idler arms, and even complete suspension systems!
Overall, if youre interested in upgrading your steering or suspension, dont think twice about upgrading with Kryptonite. As always, if you have any questions about what kit or component may be right for you and your truck, dont hesitate to contact us.

"These parts are heavy duty and just what i need on my off road truck"
"After buying the kryptonite ultimate front end kit and upper control arm with the ball joints for my 2016 3500 HD and having it professionally installed completely changed the way the truck drives and handles. But with that being the parts have 500 miles on them! Put my truck in reverse and backed up about 6 inches and stopped. Got out to look to see what was going on and this is what I had discovered. (Pic's below) What would have happened if I would have been driving down the highway at 75 mph pulling my 18ft gooseneck trailer?? You can see how porous the metal was in the picture."
"This kit got my Chevy to quit doing its best impression of a 2nd gen Dodge. The truck drives better than new."
"They don't stock them all. Took them a week to tell me they didn't have it in stock and that it would take 12 weeks to get it. Canceled the order and still had to wait awhile to get a credit back. Go and order it on Amazon and get it in two days!"
"Worth every penny! I worked over my entire front end with kryptonite top to bottom and will never go with stock replacement steering/suspension again. Installation was relatively easy, instructions were concise, and the shipping was fast."
"Well worth the investment. Truck drives better than new!"
"Definitely a very beefy upgrade, well worth the upgrade and will hopefully last a long time."
"Works great everything fit good no problems so far."
"Just got it installed in my GMC 2500 and that baby rides smooth I recommend to get this with the leveling kit save yourself the headache in the future"
"It’s actually quite ridiculous how huge of a difference this kit made on the steering and overall handling on my 2017 L5P, especially when towing. Had it thrown on around 94k miles, and at the time of this review, truck’s sitting at 115k miles. I should’ve bought this way sooner instead of putting myself through such pain and suffering with the stock setup. In summary, if you’re struggling in the darkness with that loose OEM GM steering, this ultimate front end kit is the light at the end of the tunnel; it bulletproof’s the front end. If you tow heavy, you’ll no longer have to fight the truck to maintain control. You can tow up to max capacity with confidence. If you’re off-roading, you won’t have to worry about very easily snapping tie rods. Overall, GM should be ashamed for letting their trucks roll off the assembly line with such light duty stock/OEM components. These HD trucks deserve better, especially the Duramax ones because they tow heavier. It’s an expensive upfront investment that’s not just for looks and bragging rights; it’s about safety. If you got some time, take a minute to read a more detailed explanation below. I struggled for the longest time when the truck developed the infamous/dreaded loose GM steering. Quite honestly, the truck never had that “firm” steering from the very beginning. The stock setup and feel was alright when empty, but whatever when towing. There were times I wouldn’t even tow heavy with this truck because of that unacceptable steering. Driving a Ram HD, SuperDuty, and/or a semi truck would make me hate that GM steering so much, it wasn’t even funny. I asked myself how those fools at GM even allowed, and still continue to allow, such a car-like setup for a truck that can weigh upwards to 8-9k pounds alone… My truck’s even got the Z71 “off-road” package which is honestly a joke. A couple of badges and skid plates doesn’t justify the off-road part. How do you expect someone to willingly take their heavy diesel off-roading with pencil thin stock tie rods, or a weak front end for that matter?? The people who don’t know $h!+ about $h!+ would, but not those who know to surrender before being badly humiliated/defeated. I’ve seen too many videos of the stock tie rods bending or completely snapping in half when off-roaring or doing a 4WD boosted launch. Anyways, enough rambling about all that. But wait… I HAD TO SPEND UPWARDS TO $2,000 TO FIX SOMEONE ELSE’S (GM’s) STUPIDITY. I know they’re probably going for that smooth car-like handling and ride quality for the front end, but this kit still maintains that, if not makes it better… Alright, I’m done now. If you’re thinking about buying individual pieces of this kit, I wouldn’t waste my money by pairing aftermarket heavy duty components with ones that are light duty; cross contamination. You’re gonna have everything apart anyway, might as well. Save your money and buy this kit that comes with everything. I know guys that did individual parts (just the idler and pitman arm, or just the tie rods) and they’re regretting not buying this kit, so save yourself the buyer’s remorse. I even went a step further and replaced the stock gearbox with a Red Head (SKU #: RH-2875) because I didn't want to take any chances. Having said that, during the years of 2016-2017, these HDs were notorious for developing play in the gearbox itself, so. . . My truck also got the Kryptonite stage 3 leveling kit installed at the same time, and I tell you what, there was no negative difference in handling or ride quality. If you plan on leveling or lifting your truck, this kit is a must. Don’t spend all that time and money on raising your center of gravity without strengthening its “base”. Seen too many guys go that route, and then they’re fighting for their life to maintain control, especially the Duramax guys. You can’t beat the quality and customer service provided by Kryptonite. They stand behind their products, thus offering such a great warranty."
