Since the early 2000s, Kelderman has provided an innovative solution to improve your ride quality and increase your towing capacity on Ford Super Duty trucks. How do they do it? They take those leaf springs and throw them in the trash! Their 4-Link Rear Air Suspension eliminates the factory leaf springs and replaces the suspension with a durable, 4-Link design using industrial-strength airbags. This Kelderman 4-Link Rear Air Suspension includes: upper and lower airbag mounting plates, industrial-strength airbags, trailing arm mounts, adjustable trailing arms, lower axle clamps, rear cross member, adjustable panhard bar with heim ends, accumulator tanks, and an upgraded rear sway bar assembly (F-250 & F-350 models only). This kit will take the harsh bounce out of the truck that typically comes with the leaf spring design. This kit will include a 'manual fill' air control package that provides you with the necessary air line, fittings, and a Schrader valve to inflate the kit to the 'stock ride height'. Pair the 4-Link Rear Air Suspension with one of the Kelderman self-leveling air control systems, and your Super Duty will automatically adjust to the weight of your trailers. With the flip of a switch, the 4-Link Rear Air Suspension is capable of lowering 3.5-4" below the designed 'ride height' to save you time hooking up to trailers or make it easier to load items into the truck bed. Just because you drive a heavy duty, diesel powered truck doesn't mean it has to ride like a lumber wagon. But wait, it rides rough in order to maintain a high payload and towing capacity, right? Well, sort of, but it honestly doesn't have to be that way if you put the right parts on the truck and not merely rely on 100 year old technology (leaf springs!) coupled with inferior designs and cheap components.

Kelderman is a company founded around the principles that you can have a truck that rides impeccably, offers exceptional load carrying capacity, and looks great all while doing it. Nestled in the quiet cornfields of central Iowa, Kelderman Manufacturing has been in business since 1970. Founder/President Gary Kelderman started his own small manufacturing company building innovative products for the agricultural market. Gary is a renowned inventor for his work with rubber track systems, corn harvesting attachments, hay raking equipment, and more. Kelderman existed only in the agricultural marketplace for roughly 20 years until Gary’s passion for cars/trucks led to the creation of Kelderman Air Suspension. The history of Kelderman Air Suspension first began to take shape when Gary made a common purchase and ended up with a common problem. /p>

In 1990, Gary Kelderman bought a new Cummins powered Ram right off the showroom floor. He was so dissatisfied with the way it rode that he parked it for several months to develop a solution for the rough riding Ram truck. Those months of fabrication and design ended with the creation of the Kelderman 2-Stage Rear Air Suspension. A design that is still in production today, Gary’s creation made the truck ride like he really wanted it to. Over the next 25 years, Kelderman developed additional air suspension designs for pickup trucks, chassis cab trucks, RVs, trailers, and even full air suspension lift kits. Gary Kelderman still operates as President of Kelderman Manufacturing and under the leadership of Gary and his son Jeff, what started as a small, agricultural fab shop continues to move forward as a leading innovator in the agricultural and automotive industries.
