Disappointed - wiring and connectors are poorly done
"Purchased Isspro as perceived them to be good quality. Perhaps the gauges are. The provided wiring is a disappointment. Connection to wires on gauge end is a janky Scotchlock type of affair that is difficult to assemble and seems an unreliable connection despite following instructions to the letter. One has to essentially build the plug with poor quality materials. Further, the wiring end that attaches to the probe has this non-weather resistant connection that will be very difficult to disconnect for transmission servicing, filter changes, band adjustments, etc. The instructions admonish how this must be weatherproof to work. Yet, they provide no quality weather pack style connector and recommend wrapping in tape in one of the most weather exposed areas on the vehicle. Impractical, unprofessional approach to the matter. Other gauges come with weather pack connectors. Why not these? Please share this feedback with Isspro. Surely a company with their history and caliber can do better. As I said, disappointing value received for high cost of the product."
