Camshaft Sensor Wiring Harness
"I've had a intermittent no start problem with our 2004 Ford F350 with a 6. 0 powerstroke. It would start acting up when the temperature got above 90 degrees. After spending thousands of dollars taking it to a local "professional" shop over a 4 year span I figured out that it was a wiring harness issue with the cam sensor. After watching a couple of videos on You Tube I decided to tackle this job myself. This product comes with plenty of wire to replace the harness, correct wire colors and connectors which made the job pretty simple. I'm not going to say it's an easy job because getting to the cam sensor is a pretty tight fit. Found out that the "professional" mechanics had messed up the wiring harness at least twice. What I found was a poorly spliced in connector with a broken retaining clip that was allowing the plug to loosen up enough to cause a no start. Replaced everything with the new harness and the engine started right up. I'm pretty confident that the problem is solved."
