The Pulsar is an in-line computer that connects directly to the vehicle ECM, with no additional wiring harness. By connecting directly to the trucks ECM, Edge has the ability to control the vehicle to optimize performance gains, throttle response, mileage, tire size, fueling, high-idle, and more. To make things even better, the Pulsar offers 5 performance levels that can be switched on-the-fly by using the vehicle cruise control + and buttons on the steering wheel. The active power level (0-5) will be displayed using the speedometer gauge. Simply change performance levels to display what power level or hit cancel on your cruise control to display the current power level.

"The Edge Pulsar V3 installation is much isn't very difficult but be extremely careful with the wiring harnesses. The product does perform and will livin up your Diesel, but as you turn the Tuning up it causes your truck to dump a heavy amount of fuel which will in return only cause more problems with the particulate filter. The CTS3 has worked excellent for me and looks great on the dash. Overall the performance is great besides the fuel consumption. In hindsight I would have put the money towards a full delete. I did like the fact that you can run a manual regen as well as adjust your speed limiter. Diesel Power Products got it to me very quickly."

"The pulsar definitely added power. Impressive power. But I was getting a derate message in my truck. Pulsar narrowed it down to a faulty pulsar. Returned and won’t be installing another."

"So far this tuner seems to work well. Definitely feel the added power. Throttle response is way better. Haven’t had it long enough to see if it has helped with mpg yet. Pretty easy install as well."
Pulsar is great, CTS3 is garbage
"I've had the Pulsar on a previous pickup and enjoyed it, and my expectations were met with this Pulsar module as well. The CTS3 on the other hand, was a waste of money. It does not always turn on with the truck, and it freezes every time it runs. I thought it may have been an update issue, but I've updated it fully, and it still rarely works correctly."

- Will this work on a 2024 gmc denali 2500hd durmax?
- As of today (10/14/2024), this will not work on a 2024 model year. That said, Edge does have their EZ Module with Insight CTS3 bundle that is built specifically for the 2024 model years. - Does this void any factory warranties?
- More then likely yes it would void your warranty. It is always best to check with your dealer though. -Sands
- At what RPM does the Pulsar V3 start adding power?
- It's going to add power across the whole RPM range. There are still factory limitations with torque management that is going to be in place. Where you are really going to notice is the 1100+ RPM range. -Sands
