Description
The Powerstroke Experts at Driven Diesel has taken their extremely popular "Hutch Mod" kit and upgraded it to include everything needed to run with one of their 7.3L Fuel Bowl Delete Regulated Return kits. This kit includes the in-tank modifications (if you opt for the Stock Fuel Pickup version) or provisions for hooking up to a sump (if you opt for the Sump version, sump not included), pre-pump fuel filter, fuel pump relocation (using your stock fuel pump), post-pump filter and all of the hose, fittings, wiring and hardware for installation. Whether you are installing a fuel bowl delete for performance purposes, or just sick of dealing with all the leaks from the stock fuel filter bowl, this setup will provide all of the filtration you need in a super clean installation package. Coupled with a Driven Diesel Fuel Bowl Delete Regulated Return kit, this setup will give every truck owner all of the benefits of the famous "Hutch Mod", better overall fuel filtration, easier and less expensive filter maintenance and the peace of mind that comes with getting rid of that leak/crack prone stock fuel filter bowl. This kit will allow you to install your sump, connect it through 5/8" hose to the same great filter setup, reuse your existing stock fuel pump, and then EASILY upgrade to a larger pump at a later time (without needing to touch the tank again). You will simply add a second stock pump or larger high volume pump to the mounting bracket, change the pre-filter to pump hose accordingly, install an upgraded pump wiring harness, swap to a BF1252 filter and you have upgraded to one of Driven Diesel's "Race Fuel Supply Kit" setups. This kit allows you to install your fuel system in stages, so you are not running big race fuel pumps until your setup needs them. Coupled with a Driven Diesel Fuel Bowl Delete Regulated Return kit, this kit offers an affordable way to have better overall fuel filtration, easier and less expensive filter maintenance and the peace of mind that comes with getting rid of that leak/crack prone stock fuel filter bowl...all while setting you up for more performance upgrades later. OPTIONS EXPLAINED: Stock Fuel Pickup vs. Sump: For those that draw fuel from the tank via the factory basket at the top of the tank, you'll want to select the "Stock Fuel Pickup" version. However, if you're previously upgraded your truck with a sump that mounts to the bottom of the tank to draw fuel from, or planning to do as part of this installation, you'll need to select "Sump." New Bosch Fuel Pump: There's no better time to replace your existing fuel pump than when you'll be installing this filter kit, so why not start fresh? This is a direct replacement, factory Bosch pump.

E-SERIES VAN FITMENT:
  • These will fit, but the end user will want to know the wheelbase of the van (there are extended length vans and van cab and chassis). They will also want to look at where the fuel tank is located (in front of or behind the axle). Standard vans with the tank FORWARD of the axle can use the 1999-2003 F250/350 Standard Pickup kits or part number ending in -A.  Longer vans or vans with the tank behind the axle should compare wheelbase measurements with the cab and chassis specs we’ve listed, and select the appropriate -B or -C kit.
About Driven Diesel

Driven Diesel, the manufacturing side of the highly accredited Strictly Diesel, is widely known for producing quality, first to market, diesel performance and maintenance products, specializing in Ford Powerstrokes. Dennis Schroeder and Nate Brekken, co-owners of Strictly Diesel, came together in 2010 in order to merge two companies with a common goal. Previously, Dennis owned ITP Diesel that was notorious for producing regulated return fuel kits for Powerstrokes and other specialty performance products while Nate owned Strictly Diesel, which at the time focused on quality, local service and repair work. The two continually collaborated between one another so it was only natural to combine the two companies into what it is now. While many know the Regulated Return Kits, Fuel Filter Kits, Electric Fuel Pump Kits, etc. as Strictly Diesel products, technically they are derived from the manufacturing side of Strictly, known as Driven Diesel. Whichever name you have come to know their products as, you can be rest assured you will never find a "copy-cat" product with their name on it and they have put their own blood, sweat, and tears into every finite detail. These are not "one size fits all" products, but truly tailored for each individual application and designed to serve a purpose and make your truck more reliable than the day it rolled off the assembly line.
