Description
The MAP sensor or Manifold Absolute Pressure sensor is responsible for reading the pressure on the intake side of your Cummins engine. This reading is commonly referred to as boost. In some cases, the MAP sensor can fail causing a lack of power, poor fuel economy, and other unfavorable characteristics. If you suspect your MAP sensor is bad, replace it with a genuine Cummins Replacement MAP Sensor. This sensor is built to meet or exceed factory specifications and is a direct replacement for the factory sensor.
