Installation
"The product seemed very well made and like a permanent fix to the plastic elbow issue on the 6. 7 cummins. However, installing proves to be quite difficult. The OE adapter that is threaded into the block has red loctite. With the motor still in the vehicle I was unable to get a socket on it for easy impact removal. Instead I used heat and a wrench but was unable to remove it. The OE adapter would have broke off in the block if I did not stop. If you have the time to actually mess around with getting the OE adapter off and the tools to make it easy go for it this product seems worth the headache, I just did not have the time and after 2 days I found a different version of this that uses the OE adapter and just replaces the plastic part. It was an easier install and cheaper fix but I wish I could've made this one work for me."
