This material is designed to meet the demands of harsh sealing environments, load conditions and surface finishes. The center layer or shim layer is a stainless steel layer that is folded back upon itself to create the locking portion of the bore seal. Cometic Head Gaskets are designed for a strong seal you can trust in your diesel engine. Sold individually. Revision Option:You have the option to choose revision A which matches the original design of the gaskets or revision B which is an updated version of the head gasket that was introduced to take care of problems found in the original design. Revision B is not available in all thicknesses.
