Description
The Pintop Suspension System is Carli's most popular, all around suspension system. It's a step up from their Backcountry system. The on-road ride is terrific, sharp edges are rounded and light to medium duty offroad escapades become completely controlled. Most Carli videos were filmed with the Pintop kit showcasing the extremes of its capability. The truck will sit 5.5” higher in the front and have more wheel travel thanks to the taller springs. Radius Arm Drop Brackets reset the pivot point and keep the travel linear for the best ride. Bump Stop Drops protect the shocks from over-compressing, the Adjustable Track Bar centers the front axle and Stainless Brake Lines firm up braking and ensure there is enough line for the newfound travel. To round off the front end, Caster Shims are included to tighten the steering.. Factory wheels should not be run with oversized tires. They’re known to rub the radius arm, sway bar and most concerning – brake lines. Factory tires and factory wheels will work without issue but not oversized tires on factory wheels. On the 4.5-5.5” Ford Systems, it is recommended to use 17”-18” wheels, no more than 9” wide with 5” of backspacing with a 37” E-Rated Tire. The more rubber, the better the small bump compliance will be at proper inflation pressures. The ride will firm up as you go larger in wheel diameter. SWAY BAR OPTIONS This lift kit requires an upgrade to the sway bar for compatibility. There are 2 options: the Torsion Sway Bar Kit, or the Extended Links & Drop Brackets Kit.   • Provides Slightly Rear-High Stance with 4.5-5.5″ front lifts
  • Not recommended for F-350 or F-250 with heavy duty rear suspension
  • Load Capacity is Maintained, but ride quality will not be as smooth as the Full Rear Leaf Spring Kit
