It is built from light weight, yet strong, billet 7075 aluminum and will aid in reducing or even eliminating turbo surge when towing. On the opposite end of the turbo, the turbine wheel has been upgraded, as well, to deliver a distinctive sound and provide better efficiency to reduce exhaust gas temperatures (EGT's) and reduce drive pressure when under load. In order to properly match the entire turbo, a custom Calibrated Power exclusive vane and shroud plate assembly was produced, dubbed the Stealth Nozzle Ring. This was precisely matched to the larger turbine and gives the turbo a wider volute path for class leading load performance. This wider path was achieved via taller and wider vanes that are capable of extracting more energy from the turbine, literally sucking the air out of the engine faster than stock, which in turn drives the shaft faster to bring IN more cold air.
