Overview
The factory oil cooler in your 6.0L Ford Powerstroke has been plagued with issues. Most issues are revolving around the fact that its location is in the engine valley, subjecting coolant and oil to excessive amounts of heat. This factory design works about as good as turning your A/C in your house on full blast with all your windows open on a hot day. Servicing this cooler is also a headache as you need to remove many components such as the intake manifold and turbo to even gain access to this cooler. Fix all of these issues once and for all with this complete oil cooler relocation kit from BulletProof Diesel that also includes one of Bulletproof's oil coolers.
This remote mount kit replaces your stock oil cooler with a billet aluminum oil transfer block that transfers oil out of the valley using braided hoses that connect to the supplied factory style cooler. The cooler is then mounted behind the passenger battery for easier servicing and much more efficient cooling.
