Installed this on my Cummins 6.7 and now the temperature is all Over the place. Is This normal?

Other than if there was still air in the system, no they should be fairly steady.

In response to Mark's answer to my question......"If you build a good enough product, you shouldn't have to include a lifetime warranty as a selling point." In my humble opinion, a products warranty should speak to the quality of the product! Offering an extended warranty at further cost is just plain insulting if you feel the quality of workmanship justifies the $400 price tag. Don't get me wrong, this water pump looks incredible and I'd happily switch to it if I felt a sense of security and knew that you would stand by your product. I'd have to replace my current water pump under lifetime warranty 15-20 times for the antifreeze cost to equal that of this pump.

I understand your concern Josh about there not being a lifetime warranty. I would love to assure you just because it's not lifetime does not mean its a terrible product. BulletProof makes water pumps for other platforms that I have yet to run into a major warranty defect. BulletProof took Years and I do mean multiple years to develop this pump. I would like to think they have tackled the major failures that you could run into over the counter pumps as well as other competitors. We have this pump on a shop truck that has a pretty intense engine set up and have yet to run into a single hick up. -Mark

I've had to replace the water pump on my truck 3 times now. This looks like an EXTREMELY well built product that I would love to purchase. I'd happily pay the $400 if it actually came with a better warranty. The local auto part store sells them for $60 with a lifetime warranty. If your product is built to to last, why only the 12 month warranty? Why should I spend $400 when I have lifetime replacement for $60?

Auto parts store's offer theirs at such a low cost with a lifetime warranty because of the minimal cost to produce. More than likely you will go through a few of those water pumps like you have already stated and they have no problem replacing them. The BulletProof water pump has a SUBSTANTIALLY larger bearing to support the shaft. As well as the impeller being made from billet, unlike the plastic or cast iron ones available from other brands. You wont have to worry about the plastic failing and sending plastic fragments throughout your cooling system. Not to mention the amount of coolant you need to refill every time you do a water pump. If you build a good enough product you shouldn't have to include a lifetime warranty just as a selling point. We do offer EXTEND warranties to carry the warranty further than the manufacturer. -Mark
