Description

Do you want to own the biggest, baddest Powerstroke on the block? How about an 8" lift that will clear up to 40" tires, and has the prowess to handle the street, towing, or anything offroad you can dish out? This kit from BDS is as complete as they come, including 8" lift ProRide coils and Glideride replacement rear leaf springs for a supple ride, combined with a four-link conversion and everything else needed to ensure proper steering geometry. BDS's tried and true 4-link conversion offers improved stability, strength, and caster control during wheel travel. The 4-link brackets are built from 1/4" steel and key off the factory frame bracket and transmission cross member for extra strength. Full-length 6" ProRide coil springs are used for the additional ride height and are paired with your choice of BDS NX2 series gas shocks or the premium FOX 2.0 IFP performance gas shocks for a smooth ride on any terrain. A forged drop pitman arm and heavy-duty track bar relocation bracket are supplied to correct steering angles and recenter the front axle. Also supplied for the front are bump stop extensions to limit suspension compression, sway bar drop brackets to correct the sway bar positioning, and brake line relocation brackets. The 2017 models use a new front driveline design that requires correction at 8" of lift and above to allow for the use of 4WD at any speed. To do this BDS supplies a high-strength transfer case indexing ring to rotate the front output of the transfer case down to improve the front driveline operating angle. The indexing ring uses ARP studs and includes new mounting hardware. Also supplied is a heavy-duty replacement transmission crossmember to allow additional clearance. The rear is lifted with full replacement BDS Glideride leaf springs to provide the lift needed to level the stance. These springs are a 4-leaf design with integrated overload leaf for extra load capacity. They come fully assembled with bushings installed for ease of installation and a smooth ride on and off-road. Finishing off the rear of this kit are a pair of matching NX2 or FOX 2.0 gas shocks to compliment the front setup for all-around impressive performance. These new 8" 4-link systems allow for clearance of up to 40" tires. Take your 2017 Super Duty to the next level with BDS Suspension. With this kit, we give you several options to upgrade your existing steering stabilizer. Of course, you could opt to keep your existing or factory stabilizer. Otherwise, you can upgrade to either a BDS NX2 Dual Stabilizer or even Fox Dual Stabilizers. Each of the dual kits will include the necessary hardware and bracketry for a complete installation. This suspension system will include a track bar drop bracket. However, for those who would prefer to replace their factory track bar, you have the option to upgrade to a BDS Adjustable Front Track Bar that will still be used in conjunction with the drop bracket. If your truck is equipped with a rear anti-sway bar, BDS highly recommends adding these extended rear anti-sway bar end links to ensure your rear sway bar is not in a bind after lifting.
