Description

Adding a smoother ride and more lift height to your truck doesn't have to be difficult. Built for easy bolt-on installation, this 3" UCA Lift Systems offer next level performance designed around the OE suspension geometry and utilize the FOX 2.5 Performance Elite Series shocks at each corner. These large aluminum-bodied shocks feature DSC (Dual Speed Compression) adjustable reservoirs for additional damping capacity, better heat dispersion and tuneable ride. These are paired with heavy duty BDS tubular upper control arms (UCAs) designed for improved strength and increased suspension travel. These control arms are built from thick wall 1.5" DOM tubing, and use an indexed ball joint cup to reposition the upper ball joints and allowing more droop travel. These arms come fully assembled right out of the box with high quality greaseable ball joints and rubber bushings for long life, quiet operation and superior corrosion resistance over uniballs and heims. Along with the control arms, a pair of reindexed cast steel torsion bar keys are supplied up front to lift vehicle while maintaining ground clearance. A small differential relocation kit is supplied to correct CV axle operating angles without effecting ground clearance. To eliminate sway bar interference, a pair of sway bar relocation brackets is used which maintains proper operating angle. In the rear a 2" block and u-bolt kit is used to create a level to slightly tail high stance. This system utilizes next level damper performance for smooth on-road comfort and extreme off-road capability allowing you to push your truck harder. Take your HD to the next level with BDS and FOX. IMPORTANT KIT NOTES:

Disassembly/assembly of the factory torsion bar system requires the use of a special unloading tool. The GM specified tool #CH48809
Compatible with gas or diesel models
Compatible with AT4 models
Some minor trimming may be necessary to fit certain wheel/tire combination. This is normal with most aftermarket tire/wheel fitment on Chevy/GM trucks and typically consists of trimming the bottom edge of the inner fender shrouds and/or lower corner of front bumper valance. As a rule of thumb, deeper backspacing and shorter/ narrower tires will reduce/eliminate trimming required. Further trimming tips are included at the end of this instruction sheet

BDS Suspension was started in 1996 by a business group who felt it was past time to create a suspension company that truly had the best interest of the off road consumer as its' foundation. Too often, the standard protocol was that a broken or damaged part from another manufacturer was denied warranty because of abuse or neglect. For BDS, its simple, if it breaks, they'll replace it, and that is the motto in which they have based their entire warranty off of. So, they welcome you, try and break it, if you do, they'll replace it and probably try to determine a way to increase the rigidity of the product to ensure it never happens again.

While most people whom have heard of BDS Suspension automatically think of "lift kits," that ony touches on the wide variety of suspension and steering related products that BDS offers. BDS understands that not everyone is after a complete lift kit, but still after the quality BDS products bring to the table. Some of our most popular products from BDS are replacement adjustable track bars and dual steering stabilizer kits that in many instances can be installed on a completely stock truck, or one that's leveled or lifted.
