AEV has proven that you don't need a monstrosity of a bumper to deliver superior front end protection, securely house a capable winch and still offer provisions for auxiliary lighting with their Premium Front Bumper for your Heavy Duty Ram. At first glance, many would think this is a factory bumper, and for good reason, as it precisely follows and matches the factory body lines, fully complementing the distinguishable Ram styling. Whether you use your truck for overlanding adventures, or just want a clean way to mount a winch, or none of the above, the AEV Premium Front Bumper is truly a cut above the rest.
AEV’s Front Bumper is robust and engineered to work just as hard as the truck it’s installed on. Massive ductile iron recovery points are rated to pass all OE load specifications and double as wear plates to slide over steep obstacles. A 4mm thick stamped steel face provides a superior level of protection.
AEV’s Front Bumper is fully compatible with ParkSense, a parking assist feature found on many higher trim levels. Sensor holes pre-drilled and the factory harness can be re-used, for a truly plug-n-play installation. Closeout plugs are included for trucks that do not have front ParkSense. An extremely durable, multi-stage e-coat and powder coat finish is used for the best possible corrosion resistance, and any abrasions from obstacles off-road can be easily touched-up using AEV Bumper Touch-Up paint. Additional hardware is also available so that this bumper can seamlessly fit on 4500 and 5500 models. All bumpers are proudly manufactured in the USA.
AVAILABLE OPTIONS:Bumper Corner OptionsThe outer wings of this bumper are available in two basic configurations. For those that are using the Premium front bumper with factory fenders, you will need the option for the Standard Corners. However, if you are or have already upgraded to AEV's exclusive HighMark Fender Flares, then you will want to opt for the corners built specifically to work in conjunction with these flares for a seamless fit and finish.Winch Mounting Kit OptionsWhat's a solid bumper setup without a capable winch? To accommodate several winch options, AEV gives you the option of several mounting kits for your winch (or no winch) of choice. If you opt for "No Winch Mount" no additional hardware will be included to either mount a winch, or cover the opening designed to mount the winch. However, if you choose "Winch Delete Kit" then you will receive AEV's Non-Winch Cover Plate Kit, a stamped steel block out plate to cover the space at the top of the bumper, with a molded plastic plate that will snap into the fairlead opening, as well as hold a front license plate.
Brush GuardBolt-on brush guard that replaces the lower tube assembly. Three inch main tube in the center and 2.25" tubing to protect the headlights. A great option for those looking for the most protection for the front of their truck.

While its true there are numerous other companies producing wheels, bumpers, and suspension systems for this application, you would be hard pressed to find another company that does it with the amount of finesse as AEV. And even more difficult, a company that has built all of their components to work in harmony with one another, but work just as well when used as individual components.
