Wheel hop resulting from axle wrap is something most of us have encountered at one point in time or another. There's nothing like leaving a stoplight to race the rig next to you or pulling a heavy load and have the entire truck turn to Jello, resulting in a loss of traction and available power to the ground.
You can reduce pinion angle changes / axle wrap with these BDS heavy duty traction bars. Their tubular design provides loads of strength, coupled with an attractive appearance for under your truck. Kit comes complete with a pair of ladder bars, brackets, and necessary hardware.

BDS Suspension was started in 1996 by a business group who felt it was past time to create a suspension company that truly had the best interest of the off road consumer as its' foundation. With over 45 combined years experience with other major suspension companies, both buying and selling, the individuals that would make up the BDS name were frustrated by the lack of quality and the unwillingness to make things right by these 4x4 companies. Too often, the standard protocol was that a broken or damaged part from another manufacturer was denied warranty because of abuse or neglect. For BDS, its simple, if it breaks, they'll replace it, and that is the motto in which they have based their entire warranty off of. So, they welcome you, try and break it, if you do, they'll replace it and probably try to determine a way to increase the rigidity of the product to ensure it never happens again.
BDS LIFT KITSWhile most people whom have heard of BDS Suspension automatically think of "lift kits," that ony touches on the wide variety of suspension and steering related products that BDS offers. BDS understands that not everyone is after a complete lift kit, but still after the quality BDS products bring to the table. Some of our most popular products from BDS are replacement adjustable track bars and dual steering stabilizer kits that in many instances can be installed on a completely stock truck, or one that's leveled or lifted. Other popular "non lift kit" parts are leveling kits that include upgraded shocks, progressive rate coil springs, heavy duty control or radius arms, and even leaf springs.

"Hard shifting via my Banks 6-Gun Tuner on level-5 and 6 produced some annoying thumps in the under carriage. Further investigation revealed I was a victim of axle-wrap and pumpkin-pounding. Not any more as power increases are as smooth as silk no matter how hard I mash the pedal to the floor. Installation was a breeze except I would highly recommend using a 1/2-inch pneumatic impact gun to remove/install those 8, leaf spring u-bolt nuts as doing 'em by hand takes forever and are a major pain! Installation is easy via your average garage creeper and the results are simply dramatic! Thank you BDS!"

- Will these fit a 2005 Chevy 2500hd equipped with the 6.6l turbo diesel?
- This traction bar kit will work on that truck. Fit's 2001-2010 Chevy 2500/3500 single rear wheel trucks with 4"-8" of lift. Will not fit standard short box trucks. -Mark

- I already have airlift 5000 ultimate installed. Will this get in the way of the traction bars? '09 GMC Sierra ccsb 2500hd LMM.
- Shouldn't The traction bars mount to the bottom of the U-bolts. The Airlift system from what I can see mounts further in on the axle. Those two should not interfere at all. DppSands
