ATS DIESEL TRANSMISSIONSClint Cannon and Ranee Elder founded Automotive Transmission Specialists in 1993. At that time, the company specialized in transmission repair for all types of vehicles. In 1997, the company "Performance Torque Converters" was founded, and they started doing torque converter rebuilds in-house. Bringing the capability of building torque converters in-house gave them more flexibility to service their racing customers. As the popularity of diesel trucks grew and more people became aware of the power upgrades available for their diesels, problems with diesel transmissions emerged.
Clint started research and development into a more robust torque converter to address the transmission issues. It was discovered that a clutch pack design was the answer to providing a robust torque converter. The development of the TripleLok Torque Converter and the company's focus on Diesel Performance products resulted in a rename of the company to ATS Diesel Performance.
By having their foot in the door before most, it allowed ATS Diesels transmission upgrades to grow with the demands of diesel trucks, putting them at the forefront of reliability. Fortunately for us, Clint didn't stop with transmissions and began to explore and refine upgraded turbochargers, intake and exhaust manifolds, and anything else to generate additional power with the ever-present mindset of maintaining powertrain reliability.

"For the fist 3 weeks it was amazing!!! Then it was still way better but not as good as the first 3 weeks but that count be several reason as not all the tansflid was just chanced just the 7 1/2 quarts of trans that came out the pan it could be other problems but hard to think that when it worked perfectly for 3 weeks"

- i have a 2007 dodge ram 3500 5.9 24v thinking of getting this to replace my governor pressure switch. i see this one only has one plug and one switch on it will this one work for my truck if so does the 2nd plug just stay unplugged ?
- There is a Gov. Pressure transducer also, this will not replace that. This only replaces/upgrades the Gov. Pressure Solenoid. You will need to install the transducer into this conversion block when you install it. -Sands

- I do not know off the top of my head but it is a Gov solenoid/epc from a 4L60E 2003-up.-Sands
