About Auto Meter
Auto Meter has long been renowned for the manufacture of their gauges, ranging from huge tachometers with shift lights to small, vintage style analog clock gauges. We offer a complete line of Auto Meter gauge pods and mounts to help put you in the cockpit of your Cummins, Powerstroke, or Duramax. Auto Meter's most popular selling pod is a simple A-pillar mount in which you can store anywhere from one to four gauges (depending on application) on the trim piece between the windshield and your driver's side door. Also available are dash top mounts and steering column mounts to bring the gauges directly in your line of sight as you are driving. A new style that has become popular are the overhead console mounts that put the gauges above the rearview mirror. Besides the previously mentioned, Auto Meter also carries universal cup style mounts, roll bar mounts, and about any possibly way to install your gauges where you want them for easy viewing.

"Great service from dpp as usual. The pod fits great and matches my interior perfectly. I had a cheap gloshift setup before I got my isspros and this pod. Highly recommend for anyone in the market, and you can't find a friendlier or more helpful staff. Thanks."

Ah yes, the 3 gauge pillar mount from Automet. . .

"Ah yes, the 3 gauge pillar mount from Autometer. Well let's start with DPP had a little snafu on my order with this one, but got it straightened out a. s. a. p. plus a free t-shirt so I'm happy lol. (had to wait an extra day, not a big deal). Ok, packaging was normal and it came with the single screw to mount it. Color and texture is a very good match for the interior of my truck (06 3500 Mega Cab, tan-ish pillars). Installation is easy and fit was very good. Gauges are located out of the way and really don't block your view as much as I expected. They really don't block much at all. I'm short so my seat is slid up making the highest gauge a bit of a head turn to check so I put a priority 3 gauge in that slot. If your taller well good for you. . Now the parts I don't like about it. It's a very thin piece. Like half of the factory one, not that that's a bad thing, just stating observations. Mounting screw looks kind of cheap they way it's so visible. Not sure how hard it would be to duplicate a factory look for mounting hardware, but obviously not in the budget at Autometer (Given if they truly even make it). Second thing to watch (my truck anyways) is the factory piece is thicker and has some sound deadening material attached to it, well turns out that stuff works because there are some wind noises that emit from my pillar so transferring this material over will help cut down on some noises above 50mph. Last point of concern. Mounting of the gauges. Ok I used Autometer gauges in the Autometer Pillar, well I guess this thing is designed to just be a snug fit for your gauges no mounting brackets required. After trying to fit the supplied mounting hardware for the gauges themselves, it's a no go. I will give them the fact the gauges fit in the holes very tightly and it looks clean, I just expected the gauges to be mounted more permanent. You would think they could have made housing an 1/8 bigger to accommodate their gauge support, but my friend you would be wrong. My boost gauge gets a little cross-eyed from time to time (it's the loosest fitting gauge). Yes I know it can be remedied with some tape but that's not the point. In the end, fit was good, looks were very good, price is good and I would recommend it. Just be aware of the few things you will have to work out for your application."
