This is because GM changed the reverse light bulb to a 921 style bulb from a 3156 style bulb on 2010+ Silverado trucks RECON tail lights are equipped with a 3156 style reverse light bulb hole which came standard on all 2007-2009 Chevy Silverado Trucks. 2010+ REQUIRE A GM 2007-09 Brake Light Plug from Dealer, So not plug and play.
