Description
Upgrade your valvetrain in your 6.6L Duramax with this Competition and Race 7/16" set from XDP. When you modify your engine for increased power the factory components are pushed past their limits. Increased cylinder pressures, valve spring pressures, and higher engine RPM's all stress the factory parts. Even in some mild builds, the factory pushrods can flex leading to power loss and other issues. Ensure your getting the most out of your performance build with this performance pushrod set.
These 7/16" pushrods are made right here in the USA and are hand crafted to the highest standards. Constructed of seamless 4130/4135 chromoly tubing that is cold drawn over a mandrel for increased rigidity and flex reduction. Each tip is CNC machined from core hardened and triple tempered 86L20 bar stock to provide impact and wear resistance. This process ensures a stronger overall product and increased valvetrain performance. The Competition and Race pushrods can also be used in mild and stock builds. While these are intended for competition use and high horsepower, the larger pushrod is perfect for those who want to build their engine stronger, or for those who are building now, to make more power down the road. The 7/16" pushrods can handle 1000hp+ and work perfectly on stock to extreme engines. Sold as a set.
