The factory installed intercooler pipe is known to fail on even stock trucks! Once you add a tuner, exhaust, air intake, or other aftermarket upgrades, your OE plastic intercooler pipe is surely on borrowed time. The factory component won't just fail gracefully in the driveway, it'll blow apart while you're hauling a load up a steep grade, or making a pass down the track. In either case, you will be stuck on the side of the road, or in the dust of the competition.

- The manufacture has found that these will work on 6.7's in the normal Ford body. As in Pickups and the Cab & Chassis, but NOT in any sort of cut-aways, or HD applications above and beyond the F-350/450 applications.
