Description
When you're out wheeling in the woods, trees are the perfect winching point to get you past that nasty obstacle. If you're like many, you will merely wrap the cable around the tree and reattach the winch hook to the cable. This can lead to a couple of issues, though. First, its hard on the tree. Secondly, its hard on your cable. By using a tree trunk protector, such as this one from Warn, both problems are alleviated.
The WARN Epic Tree Trunk Protector is designed to help protect a live tree from damage during winching operations and self-recovery situations. The strap is constructed of premium quality nylon with an encased red warning marker to indicate damaged webbing. Plus, end loops are reinforced with durable forged steel ring connectors and E-coated for premium protection against wear and abrasion.
