Description
Since 2005, Ford has utilized a radius arm design for the front suspension to tie the front axle to the frame. These arms are built from stamped steel and can become an issue as leveling or lift kits are installed because the front axle is shifted towards the rear of the vehicle. Not only do these replacement radius arms from BDS look awesome, they help to realign the axle, as well as provide superior strength compared to the stock pieces. IMPORTANT FITMENT NOTES: 2005-2016 Model Years Intended for direct replacement on vehicles with 2"-4" of front end lift 2017+ Model Years Intended for direct replacement on vehicles with 2.5"-4" of front end lift They cannot be used with radius arm drop brackets at lift heights of 2-4". Therefore, if someone has a current BDS radius arm drop bracket kit, they will need to remove the drop bracket to install these arms. For those with 6" of front lift, the radius arms can be installed with the drop brackets as a direct swap for the factory radius arms - only caution would be that the caster may need to be checked if ball joint cams are installed.

About BDS Suspension

BDS Suspension was started in 1996 by a business group who felt it was past time to create a suspension company that truly had the best interest of the off road consumer as its' foundation. With over 45 combined years experience with other major suspension companies, both buying and selling, the individuals that would make up the BDS name were frustrated by the lack of quality and the unwillingness to make things right by these 4x4 companies. So, they set out to create a suspension company that would be the best and made a list of the things they felt were not right and made it their mission to correct them.

One of the most important of these wrongs they were looking to right were that of other companies warranties. Too often, the standard protocol was that a broken or damaged part from another manufacturer was denied warranty because of abuse or neglect. For BDS, its simple, if it breaks, they'll replace it, and that is the motto in which they have based their entire warranty off of. So, they welcome you, try and break it, if you do, they'll replace it and probably try to determine a way to increase the rigidity of the product to ensure it never happens again.

BDS LIFT KITS

While most people whom have heard of BDS Suspension automatically think of "lift kits," that ony touches on the wide variety of suspension and steering related products that BDS offers. BDS understands that not everyone is after a complete lift kit, but still after the quality BDS products bring to the table. Some of our most popular products from BDS are replacement adjustable track bars and dual steering stabilizer kits that in many instances can be installed on a completely stock truck, or one that's leveled or lifted. Other popular "non lift kit" parts are leveling kits that include upgraded shocks, progressive rate coil springs, heavy duty control or radius arms, and even leaf springs.

Solid construction

"Great quality materials, prep after welding needs to be better tho. Lots of slag and spatter left all over. Then just powder coated over. I really like BDS products so this was kinda disappointing"

2021 F350 Powerstroke

"This is a definite radius arm upgrade, either leveling or lifting it’s better than stock and budget friendly."

Scott S. (5/5)

2016 F250 lariat

"Great product, quality construction, easy install. Paired with 2. 5” BDS lift. Took about 2 hours in the driveway with 2 jack-stands and a floor jack. Diesel Power Products shipping was extremely fast even during the Christmas season. Would recommend product and DPP."

Clinton M. (5/5)

You get what you paid for. Not the best welds

"I am a welder by trade and know about stacking dimes. The welds in the arms look like it’s been done by a robot with the setting way to hot or to cold when they overlap an existing weld. I didn’t want to spend $1k on radius arms from my favorite brand so I went this route . I don’t recommend this product if you want a product that pays attention to detail."

Q&A

Will these work at stock height on a 2005 f250 4x4 6.0?
Hello Brad, unfortunately these Radius Arms are designed for a 2-4" lift.
Will these clear 37x12.5x20s on stock 2019 ford wheels? I only rub my stock radius arm by 1/4"
They do have significantly more clearance then stock. You should be fine with that combo. We have never ran exact setup though. Usually end up putting aftermarket wheels with less positive offset to move the wheel and tire package out. -Sands
Does this fit a 2008 f250 super duty v8 5.4 2wd
Yes those would work with either gas or diesel. -Sands
Will these radius arms work with a 4.5 inch lift?
That depends on the year of truck. Please see the section titled IMPORTANT NOTES for more information. -Ben
Would these work on a truck with just a 2" spacer block leveling kit?
Depends on year of the truck. Check the information under "IMPORTANT FITMENT NOTES:" -Ben
