Description
You've decided to add some fuel modifications to your 01-04 GM LB7, whether via a programmer, or simply a fueling chip, and that's awesome. However, if you don't increase the amount of air you're getting as well, your engine will run rich. This leads to poor fuel economy and high EGTs or exhaust gas temperatures.With a simple 5-minute installation of Pacific Performance Engineering's Boost Increase Valve, you'll increase your boost pressure from 18-20 psi to 23-25 psi. By adding that additional air flow, you'll not only lower the dreaded exhaust gas temperatures, you'll also increase power and clean up your fuel economy.

- Do you ever have to clean or replace a boost valve? If you need to clean one how do you recommend cleaning one?
- Typically these do not require service. If necessary you can remove and inspect the valve for debris, dirt or other contaminants. Use a light solvent such as a WD-40 or the like, let it dry completely and reinstall.
