Description

Jack up your big ol' Ram to make it even bigger for larger tire fitment. Sure, your truck will look awesome, but your offroad capabilities will increase also. And no, this isn't your traditional kit that just uses blocks everywhere. You'll get a fresh pair of custom wound front coil springs, replacement upper and lower control arms, and a host of other upgrades. Turn your 1994-1999 Dodge Ram 2500/3500 into the truck you've always wanted! This 5" system features upper and lower extended heavy-duty control arms with greasable polyurethane bushings to properly center the axle and correct caster. The dropped pitman arm combined with the heavy duty track bar bracket corrects the steering geometry and centers the axle. Whether on road or offroad this system is built to perform including custom valved Zone shocks that have been tuned to the full height 5" coils as well as extended polyurethane bump stops. In the rear, a 5" rear block and add-a-leaf is used to replace the factory block, no stacking in this system. This kit is available with several shock options. The standard kit utilizes (4) Nitro Series shocks that will deliver increased ride quality comparison to your stock shocks. For those that want a big upgrade, go for the Fox Adventure Series that are designed to take a beating, and look good while doing it. Shock Options - We offer this kit with several shock options: Nitro Series Shocks: Zone Nitro Series shock absorber offers stock-like control and performance with fully displaced valving for improved compression and extension travel. This vehicle specific valving is pressurized with 50 psi nitrogen gas; this gas charge ensures split second response and reduced aeration. Combine these features with the special Fluon-banded piston and this shock is built to perform! Fox Adventure Series Shocks: Built specifically to compliment your Zone lift kit, FOX's proven damping technology provides a comfortable on-road ride and predictable off-road handling in a variety of conditions. Their monotube design uses an internal floating piston (IFP) to separate the shock oil from the high-pressure, nitrogen-charged gas chamber, preventing oil aeration for fade-free performance in rough terrain.

FEATURES & BENEFITS:

IMPORTANT NOTES:

Aftermarket steering stabilizer required. Factory drag link mount taper will be flipped when dropped pitman arm is installed. Order proper Zone stabilizer listed in accessories if replacement is needed.
If truck is equipped with rear brake proportioning valve, proportioning valve relocation bracket kit (D5509) is required.
Will not fit models built before February 9, 1994 due to track bar stud size.
Factory block is replaced with 5" block and add-a-leaf combo to obtain a level stance.
These models came equipped from the factory with two different factory sway bar link setups. For models that have the factory front sway bar links mounted ABOVE the axle bracket, optional sway bar link kit D5501 is required. For models that have the factory front sway bar links mounted BELOW the axle bracket, no additional sway bar link kit is required.
If equipped with rear top mounted overload springs 4 of u-bolt part # UBT4050 may be required.
If vehicle is equipped with a factory rear sway bar, optional rear sway bar link kit # D5508 is recommended.
Models equipped with a 2 piece rear driveshaft and carrier bearing will require optional carrier bearing drop kit # D5505
