"If you have upgrade anything to your fuel system, this is a MUST! My truck kept lagging like the trans was going into limp mode or something. I replaced the Fuel Pressure Relief Valve for the PPE race valve (took about an hour myself) no more issues. Definitely recommended! FYI This doesn't come with the needed O-ring."

Q&A

No o-ring came with the plug, do I need to buy one separately??
The 2001-2004 LB7's did not have an o-ring at the pressure relief valve. They did, however, start using one on the 2004.5-2010's. The seal is a mechanical seal that does not require an o-ring to seal and one should not be used.
I have a 2004 LB7, I can't figure out where this part goes! At first I thought it was to replace driver side rail plug. Nope! doesn't go there. Some listings mentioned it replaces a banjo bolt above the Pressure relief valve, Can't find that location. Please send a video link or picture of where this part goes. Thanks.
Hi Brian The PRV is located pretty much directly behind the A/C compressor. We have two pictures on this product listing. One is the item, the other is the item installed on the distribution block. You should also have the installation instructions for this as well. I would use the picture in the instructions for general location, then the picture of it on the distribution block for detailed installation. Does this improve/work for a stock Duramax?
This will work stock or modified Duramax engines. This typically is used when one has tuned their truck and need to maintain higher rail pressure that some tuners will require.-TL
Is this a relief valve, or just a straight plug ? It looks like a plug, Not sure i'm comfortable with eliminating the relief.
