Description

Nothing complements a BDS 6" suspension system better than the race proven design of Fox 2.5" remote reservoir coilovers. These have been specifically engineered to fit the 6" BDS system and feature an external reservoir for increased oil cooling capacity and nitrogen volume for a more consistent and comfortable ride. Other upgrades to the standard BDS 6" lift kit include front reservoir mount and rear Fox 2.0 shocks all coming together for a suspension package that is build to perform out in the desert, the trail, and on-road. These kits are designed to fit up to 37" tires. Through a collaborative effort between BDS Suspension and Fox Racing, BDS now offers this 4-6" Dodge 1500 4WD suspension system featuring Fox 2.5" coil-over remote reservoir shocks. This system has been rigorously tested to maximize travel and performance on and off the pavement. For 2013, Dodge added an electronic steering rack which uses different tie rod ends. BDS has you covered with a new 4-6" coil-over lift kit specifically developed for your Dodge 1500 truck. This lift kit is based around two one-piece, 1/4" laser cut high-clearance crossmembers and replacement steering knuckles. The high-clearance crossmembers increase ground clearance for off road performance and on road appeal.The replacement steering knuckles make for a clean installation as well as maintain proper steering angles and ball joint angles. A differential skid plate is included for off road protection. The system also includes bump stop drops, anti-sway bar links, 3 point differential drop system, strut relocation brackets, and front stainless steel brake lines. They use a nitrogen-charged, twin-tube design with 10-stage velocity-sensitive valving for lightning-fast dampening and superior control. FOX 2.0 Performance Series Shocks - FOX 2.0 performance series shocks have been tuned and tested by both FOX and BDS Suspension to maximize performance specific to each application and every BDS Suspension system. The Internal Floating Piston (IFP) shock design is based on proven Fox Racing Shocks race products but re-designed to maximize the ride quality, handling, and control of your BDS-equipped truck, whether on or off the road.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

The rack and pinion steering system is extremely sensitive to an out-of -round or out-of-balance tire/wheel combination. The larger the tire and the less the backspacing, the more sensitive the system becomes, causing minor steering wheel shimmy.
Not recommended for AWD models.
Stock 17" wheels can not be re-installed. Stock 20" can be reinstalled with factory tire.
Will not fit adjustable air suspension equipped models
TRX models will achieve approximately 1" of additional lift. This lift is not recommended for use on the TRX models due to possible CV shaft vibration caused by the additional lift/
This kit is FMVSS No.126 Compliant - The NHTSA's Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No.126 requires all new passenger vehicles to include Electronic Stability Control (ESC) systems that meet certain standards that can be tested through a comprehensive series of evasive maneuvers. Aftermarket products must meet these standards as well.

About BDS Suspension

BDS Suspension was started in 1996 by a business group who felt it was past time to create a suspension company that truly had the best interest of the off road consumer as its' foundation. With over 45 combined years experience with other major suspension companies, both buying and selling, the individuals that would make up the BDS name were frustrated by the lack of quality and the unwillingness to make things right by these 4x4 companies. So, they set out to create a suspension company that would be the best and made a list of the things they felt were not right and made it their mission to correct them.

One of the most important of these wrongs they were looking to right were that of other companies warranties. Too often, the standard protocol was that a broken or damaged part from another manufacturer was denied warranty because of abuse or neglect. For BDS, its simple, if it breaks, they'll replace it, and that is the motto in which they have based their entire warranty off of. So, they welcome you, try and break it, if you do, they'll replace it and probably try to determine a way to increase the rigidity of the product to ensure it never happens again.

While most people whom have heard of BDS Suspension automatically think of "lift kits," that ony touches on the wide variety of suspension and steering related products that BDS offers. BDS understands that not everyone is after a complete lift kit, but still after the quality BDS products bring to the table. Some of our most popular products from BDS are replacement adjustable track bars and dual steering stabilizer kits that in many instances can be installed on a completely stock truck, or one that's leveled or lifted.
