If you're looking at this product page, it probably means you're in the same boat as many, and have a dead or dying VP44 injection pump. The factory injection pump that came standard on the 98.5-02 Dodge Cummins trucks could best be described as a Band-Aid, or temporary fix, while Bosch was in the process of producing the common rail injection pumps that would be featured on the 2003 and newer trucks. While the VP44 is not necessarily a bad pump, they do have the highest failure rate compared to any of the other pumps, and most of the issues stem from inadequate lift pump pressure.Please select from the options below to ensure you receive the proper pump for your application.Industrial Injection has been building these pumps for years and have all of the technology to get you into the perfect remanufactured injection pump. 235 horsepower models were found on 1998.5-2002 model years with an automatic transmission or 5 speed manual.
245 horsepower models were found only on 6 speed manual transmissions.

Wire tapping the pump with a performance module will void any and all warranty.

With hard work, sacrifice, and a little help from fate, 30-year-old Brady opened the doors to Industrial Injection.
Industrial Injection received its name from servicing construction, agricultural, and mining equipment, as well as over the road truck engines. It was primarily an agricultural and industrial fuel shop. However, when Ford, Dodge and GM decided to power pickup trucks with diesel engines, Industrial Injection was forever changed.
