PPEI TCM TUNING FOR THE ALLISON A50 and T87 - KEEP YOUR TRANS LIVING LONGER! The A50 and T87 Allisons follow a pre-determined torque model in which all factory LML Duramax's follow. As throttle input and load increases, so does the calculated torque the TCM estimates. Following this estimated torque amount, is line pressure. Line pressure in factory form is PERFECT for a factory tuned engine, however, once torque is increased with tuning, the predetermined torque model is higher than what the transmission estimates and results is lower-than-needed Line PSI. With PPEI TCM TUNING, you will gain an increase in the line PSI to a torque model like it would have come with from factory, which gives the transmission the line pressure it needs for the torque increase of the tuning. IMPORTANT NOTE: You MUST be currently running PPEI engine tuning in order to utilize this PPEI TCM Tuning. DISCLAIMER If your trans is already hurt - it needs to be built. We also can not guarantee that you will not blow your trans... ANYTHING can be broken and stock components still fail! Installation Instructions:

Verify whether your transmission is an A50 or T87. For reference, there was a mid-model year change in 2015. 2011-2015 model years have the A50 transmission, where 2015.5+ have a T87. If you have a 2015 model year, please confirm which you have by looking at the thumbnail images as examples.
Read out stock A50 or T87 file using your AutoCal or V2 before installing PPEI transmission file.
