Description
The Driven Diesel Fuel Bowl Delete Regulated Return system corrects several factory inadequacies like low fuel pressure as well as removes the restrictive stock fuel filter bowl. The system is designed to work in conjunction with an upgraded fuel pump system and is not intended to be used with the stock pump. To make installation a bit simpler we recommend purchasing a 6.0L Oil Filter Bowl without Fuel Filter Bowl (discussed below). Whether you've experienced the factory issues common with the 6.0L or not, upgrading your fuel system is a must to keep your Powerstroke in good working order. While there is certainly more than one way to upgrade the fuel system on your 6.0L Powerstroke few of these upgrades match up to Driven Diesel's solution to the under-performing stock system. The overall issue; poor fuel flow. Previously Driven Diesel solved this with their Standard Regulated Return Kit. This Fuel Bowl Delete kit features all the same solutions but removes the last flow restrictive piece; the fuel filter bowl. In addition to the removing the fuel bowl the kit eliminates the dead-head stock fuel rails and provides an adjustable fuel pressure capability to your Powerstroke's system. This is accomplished by tying the end of each fuel rail together through a bypass fuel pressure regulator. The upgrade includes replacement fuel feed lines that replace the low quality stock lines, larger high-flow banjo bolts as well as removes restrictive check valves. The primary benefit? Significantly increased fuel flow through your heads that ensures all injectors have adequate fueling and pressure at all times. As an added bonus the system allows any air built up in the system to harmlessly pass through the regulators return port instead of being pushed to your injectors. This not only decreases the amount of injector noise, but also prolongs the life of your injectors immensely. If you're installing new injectors we highly recommend replacing the stock fuel system with this Driven Diesel alternative, not only will you protect your investment, but you'll also allow your new injectors to reach their full potential! Important Notes: If your truck is still using the stock fuel filter bowl this kit will require modification of that bowl. Because the fuel bowl and oil bowl share a location you have the choice of modifying your stock part or buying an Oil Bowl without Fuel Bowl--something we believe is the best option. If you have already deleted your oil filter, this kit allows complete removal of the fuel filter bowl. This system is not intended for use with the stock fuel pump. If you would like to use your stock pump but you are still looking to upgrade your fueling system, check out our other offerings from Driven Diesel for the Standard Regulated Return kit which does not remove the fuel filter bowl! If you have already replaced your fuel pump you may need additional parts depending on the brand purchased. This Driven Diesel system was designed to be used with Driven Diesel's Race fuel supply kits so if you are using the Driven Diesel pump you will not need any additional parts. If you are using a FASS or AIRDOG II system you will need additional parts. These pumps terminate with a quick disconnect and utilize the factory fuel supply line from the OE pump location forward. Since the Driven Diesel system deletes the stock secondary fuel filter, the stock steel fuel supply line on the front of the cylinder head is no longer usable or needed. You will need to complete the connection from your pump to the #6 Male AN fitting at the inlet of the fuel bowl delete block. We offer a complete Installation Kit from Driven Diesel (available below) that includes adequate fuel line from the pump all the way to the fuel bowl delete block. FITMENT NOTE - This kit will NOT fit the E-Series Van.

About Driven Diesel

Driven Diesel, the manufacturing side of the highly accredited Strictly Diesel, is widely known for producing quality, first to market, diesel performance and maintenance products, specializing in Ford Powerstrokes. Dennis Schroeder and Nate Brekken, co-owners of Strictly Diesel, came together in 2010 in order to merge two companies with a common goal. Previously, Dennis owned ITP Diesel that was notorious for producing regulated return fuel kits for Powerstrokes and other specialty performance products while Nate owned Strictly Diesel, which at the time focused on quality, local service and repair work. The two continually collaborated between one another so it was only natural to combine the two companies into what it is now. While many know the Regulated Return Kits, Fuel Filter Kits, Electric Fuel Pump Kits, etc. as Strictly Diesel products, technically they are derived from the manufacturing side of Strictly, known as Driven Diesel. Whichever name you have come to know their products as, you can be rest assured you will never find a "copy-cat" product with their name on it and they have put their own blood, sweat, and tears into every finite detail. These are not "one size fits all" products, but truly tailored for each individual application and designed to serve a purpose and make your truck more reliable than the day it rolled off the assembly line.
