Featuring a cotton gauze filter media with a single synthetic layer at the inner most core, this filter protects down to four microns of filtration. Due largely in part to the synthetic layer, you can rest assured that this filter will not allow any oil to bypass the filter into the engine for maximum protection. NOTE: This intake is designed for vehicles that DO NOT have the factory hood pad liner.
