Whether stock or modified, your Cummins has the ability to run relatively hot, especially when put through the rigors of heavy towing.Because of this, installing a simple pyrometer, boost, and transmission temperature gauge kit can be crucial to avoid costly repairs down the road. On top of this, by accurately watching your boost gauge, you will have a better idea of where your powerband lies, making climbing grades easier and less straining on your powertrain. This kit includes a triple pillar post pod and a set of Auto Meter's Dodge Factory Match 0-1600 degree pyrometer, 0-60 psi boost, and 100-250 degree transmission temperature gauges. These are designed to best match the factory interior of your truck. The pillar pod's formed plastic is already the taupe color of the factory pillars, so no painting will be necessary.

Q&A

Does this come with fittings and thermostats for said gauges? And do they have illumination at night or electrical hook ups with needs wire and connectors?
It is going to come with the sending units but it will be up to you what you are going to use install them. For instance you are going to have to drill and tap for the EGT unless you have an aftermarket manifold that has those provisions. For boost I woudl recommend getting the "Boost Bolt" adapter that replaces a intake plenum bolt with a hollow one that is threaded for the sensor. For transmission if you don't have an aftermarket pan that is threaded. I would recommend the Glacier 500-TTSA. Trans temp sender manifold to go in the factory hardline. The gauges will need to be wired to dash lights for illumination. -Sands
Will this column work if you have factory speakers at the bottom?
Don't think those ever came with factory speakers in the pillar. Could be wrong but it sounds like and aftermarket tweeter to me. The new pillar would have to be modified for that tweeter/speaker
