Having a good set of gauges to keep an eye on vital parameters of your engine are key to any diesel truck. Whether stock or modified, your Cummins engine has the ability to run relatively hot, especially when put through the rigors of heavy towing.Because of this, installing a simple pyrometer and boost gauge kit can be crucial to avoid costly repairs down the road. On top of this, by accurately watching your boost gauge, you will have a better idea of where your powerband lies, making climbing grades easier and less straining on your powertrain. This kit includes a dual pillar post pod and a set of Auto Meter's Dodge Factory Match 0-1600 degree pyrometer and 0-60 psi boost gauges. These are designed to best match the factory interior of your truck. The pillar pod's formed plastic is already the taupe color of the factory pillars, so no painting will be necessary.

"The pillar material is a little bit more flimsy than expected, and I’m not fond of the cheaper method of mounting for the EGT probe. My concern is the small amount of exhaust that could squeeze past the probe. The the previous setup I had, the probe had a flange more or less that a two piece fitting so no exhaust could get by. All in all a good product and operates as intended."

Does this kit come with all of the necessary hardware for the pyrometer and the boost gauge (boost bolt)?
It will come with hardware for the Pyro, it does not include a boost bolt you would have to add that to your order. DppSands
can I get this with different gauges
unfortunately no this kit is designed for the gauges that are provided and can not be switched out with different gauges. -DK
