Description
Flow and Performance: The intercooler tube is constructed of 3" mandrel bent stainless steel tubing for maximum flow then powder-coated for heat and corrosion resistance. The smooth bends allow for low turbulence, increasing horsepower, torque and lowering EGT's.
Installation is a snap: Utilizes the factory mounting locations to provide stability for a hassle-free installation. Includes constant tension, spring loaded, t-bolt clamps for a leak-free seal and heavy-duty 5-PLY couplings for strength. Fits OEM or aFe's upgraded intercooler.
aFe Badging: Unique stainless steel laser-cut aFe Power logo plate is welded-on for an aggressive style.

Pipes came in great shape and everything arri. . .
"Pipes came in great shape and everything arrived at my door on time and in brand new condition. Putting the pipes/couplings/clamps on was another story. It took me 4 hours. It took me about a half hour to get everything apart and that was all well and good. The new couplings were so tight I had to windex the daylights out of them to get their internal silicone humps on the inside of the coupling over the metal edges of both the pipes and the intercooler/turbo inlet/outlets. Putting on the clamps was another bit of fun. I had to assemble them on the pipe and then run them up to the coupling and work them onto it because they weren't big enough to be assembled on the couplings. The instructions were severely lacking. it seemed to me that whoever wrote them really tried for the first three lines and then gave up. It was weird how they started out as use an 8mm socket here and a 10mm socket here to remove this nut and that nut and then became remove old stuff put in new stuff enjoy the product. It was really bad only because I had to accommodate assembling the clamps and putting them on in spaces where you can barely get fingers into. The product's performance has been great. I now get roughly 20mpg while driving at 75mph eliminating all the unnecessary restrictions and bends in the pipes. Turbo spool is also quicker. I have had no issues with the performance and it has been outstanding since I got it all together."
