Description
Monitoring your drive pressure is kind of like monitoring boost, but instead of checking the pressure BEFORE it goes into the engine, drive pressure checks what is coming OUT of the engine. This can be crucial in preventing against blown head gaskets, but also in just ensuring proper engine performance for whatever modifications you have done.
The styling of this gauges is intended to replicate that of the 2003-2009 Ram's factory gauges, however, the gauge itself can be installed into any vehicle.
What's Included:
1/8" (10ft) with Ferrules - For use with mechanical pressure gauges up to 200 PSI. Includes 10ft. of 1/8" Nylon Tubing, 1/8" NPT Male to 1/8" compression fitting, 1/8" NPT Female to 1/8" compression fitting, and 1/8" NPT to 1/4" NPT bushing.
1/8" (6ft) - For mechanical pressure gauges (except fuel, nitrous, or brake pressure gauges). Includes 6 ft. of 1/8" copper line, 1/8" NPT Male to 1/8" compression fitting, 1/8" NPT Female to 1/8" compression fitting, grommet, and 1/8" NPT to 1/4" NPT bushing.
Recommended Accessory: Exhaust (Drive) Pressure Particle Trap Kit - This particle trap assembly is designed specifically to collect exhaust contaminants before they enter your Exhaust Pressure gauge or sensor assembly.
NOTE: Because this is a mechanical gauge that will be bringing exhaust to the gauge itself, Autometer recommends only installing this gauge on the exterior of the vehicle.
