Description
Engine runaway can be caused by oil vapor that travels through the crankcase breathers and into the intake system. Uncontrolled fueling of the engine is extremely dangerous.Upgrading the crankcase breathers and adding a PPE filter kit solves this runaway problem and stops normal oil vapor from contaminating the turbo, intercooler, and intake system. Other benefits of properly venting the crankcase are reduced internal engine pressures which will decrease the chance of seal damage and oil misting. Kit includes 2 billet machined aluminum crankcase breathers, Filter Assembly, Hoses, Clamps and Optional Check Valve.

No Guidelines

"No instructions are included with this, and with all the hoses involved a guideline for routing would be very helpful, as well as letting us know where the bracket was intended to be installed. Mine also did not come with heat wrapping as shown in the picture."

Q&A

What size ID hose is needed and what length?
It comes with hoses in the kit. -Sands
i just received the crankcase breather assy and there were no instructions with it. Do you have instructions?
We do not, you might contact PPE to see if they have any. The quick rundown would be to remove the factory PCV hose and cross over to the intake. Install the PCV adapters in the valve covers. Install the new PCV hose T. Run the hose from the T to the canister. Install the hose on the bottom of the canister to under the truck. I would mount canister over by the drivers hood hinge.
