Description
Would you drink a milkshake through one of those little coffee stir-style straws you get at the gas station or church? Of course not! You want a straw that's going to deliver that chocolate goodness in a hurry and without a lot of effort. So why are you still forcing your turbo to use a small flat downpipe in your LB7? It wants to move air and be efficient, but that crushed looking pipe isn't letting it breathe easy. PPE has the solution with their Stainless Downpipe for the 01-04 LB7 Duramax. Crafted from 304 Stainless for longevity and reliability and formed with a clean lined flange to a smooth proper round tube for more efficient airflow. Let your turbo breathe easier, and keep your under-hood temperatures down, as the PPE unit is also wrapped in a titanium woven thread for superior heat protection for your other components. And in this case, our friends from California can benefit too, as there is a California specific Downpipe for you all too. Please make sure you select the option noting if your vehicle was originally built as a California specific vehicle, which would include an EGR system, or a Federal (non-California) vehicle.

Q&A

What's the difference between the non California and the California pipe?
The bolt pattern is going to be different between the federal/california emissions.
Does this product come with new hardware?
This does not, it would reuse the factory hardware.
The down pipe comes with the round gasket, that I’m assuming goes where the down pipe meets the exhaust, do I need a gasket where it bolts up to the turbo? Never pulled a down pipe before. new to this
Tat downpipe does not come with the gasket at the turbo end.
