Description
Notably, the most popular and bulletproof u-joint for the 9.25 front end, is the Dana Spicer 1485. This is a non-greasable joint, which means no zerk fitting. While many may think this is a disadvantage, it is not. A properly built u-joint, once packed with grease, should not need to be regreased during its lifespan. By installing a zerk fitting, it only lends itself to penetration from dirt or road debris, and is a factory weak point in the joint, as well.
