Paid over $6300 and upon intial inspection I . . .
"Paid over $6300 and upon intial inspection I noticed left front mounting/lift tap was broken and had been filed down then painted over. Then I noticed rear speed sensor was not new and had obviously been reused from old transmission plastic plug was chipped and discolored by age. Inspection of front speed sensor appeared as though it could be new but screw to mounting bracket had been stripped and screw completely loose. At this point I contacted company and their first offer was to send me a new rear sensor and suggested I purchase and heli-coil to fix the stripped out one. As for lifting/mounting tab they advised me it would not interfere with performance of transmission. I advised company that I didn't pay $6300 to have to work on the transmission before installing it and for that price my expectations are that I should not be able to tell the difference between the one they sent me and a new one. Also if this was the quality they provide with 3 defects on the outside I would not trust whoever built it to put it into my truck. I had them schedule pickup and return. Then I was offered a replacement to by shipped right away. I declined that offer because I had time to read their true warrant exclusions. Which is pretty much everything that could happen. Front and rear transmission shaft not covered. Must have certified transmission specialist do pressure test after install and send results in with warranty and the best yet, must replace transmission fluid every 15K miles. You dump $265 on Schaeffers synthetic fluid and you need to replace it at 15K miles. Who in their right mine would? Transmission was returned for full refund."
