Description
Replace and or upgrade the steering in your 03-13 Ram 2500/3500 Dodge Ram with this quality replacement from MOOG. These kits tie the front wheels together eliminating independent toe in and out and offer MOOG Problem Solver gusher bearing technology with greasable joints. The idea is to cut down on tire wear and death wobble. In our experience this kit will not make up for other worn front end components such as steering gear box and ball joints, but it will make your front end feel much tighter and more responsive. Now, we won't put our stamp on it as a fix for "death wobble," but it sure has made a dramatic impact even on our own personal trucks. IMPORTANT NOTES: 2003-2008 Ram 2500/3500 Trucks With Factory Steering WILL need a different damper: Since this kit no longer has the "stud style" attachment point that your current stock one does. We offer several different heavy duty damper options that we prefer to run with the upgrade kit. Our most popular damper upgrade is the Carli Stainless Steel Low Mount or the Bilstein 5100 Damper.

Great Product

"Installed, aligned, did 1700 miles the next weekend and no complaints. Still standing strong after 5k miles. Pitman arm is a must do even with the extra labor."

I replaced my old Y

"I replaced my old Y to this T system and my truck drives as if it were new. Which is nice for 22 year old Ram with over 305000 miles"

ALVIN B. (5/5)

Budget upgrade for the 2nd gens.

"I put this on my 2001 3500. Bolts in place of the trash y style linkage. Even retained my stock style damper with a little creative hardware use but overall much better than the stock steering linkage they did on the 2nd gens. This offers a massive upgrade ditching the y style to t style linkage and super easy to align in the driveway and gives you greaseable joints."

Q&A

Own a 2006 Dodge 2500 with factory steering. Will I have to get the low mount shock also?
Good question, you may need or really appreciate some other things as well. Please reach out at 888-993-4373 Mon-Fri 6-6 pst.
Does this work on lifted trucks?
Yes it will work on lifted trucks. You should already have a drop pitman arm in place and this linkage, specifically the drag link, will drop into place in your existing pitman arm. If your truck is only leveled and has the original pitman arm, it will still work, but if the truck is a 2003-2008 with the original pitman arm, not the updated one for specific use with the T-Style Steering, then its advisable to get the upgraded pitman arm as it has a little more drop to it which will help with bumpsteer.
I’ve been looking at all of your steering kits for my 2012 ram 3500. A lot of the other kits have a lot of bad reviews and seem to have some issues. What is it about this kits that makes you recommend other products over this one?
When it comes to steering kits we have seen A LOT, from some pretty intense off-road set ups to pavement princess's. The Moog steering option is an alternative to the factory OEM option. A lot of the components are going to be similar in quality. Personally on my 2012 I run the Synergy Steering kit since I am running a larger wheel and tire set up. Please don't hesitate to call in or chat if you are wanting further information. -Mark
Will this fit 05 dodge ram 2500 cummins
This can fit on that year of truck. Just be sure to grab an updated steering stabilizer (one that is designed for T style steering) -Mark
Does this require a different pitman arm if you're upgrading from the "y" style steering?
We would recommend the upgraded pitman arm for sure. Leaving the Y-style pitman arm on will create a bind when the suspension droops. -Sands
