MOOG ES3609 Outer Tie Rod 01-10 GM 6.6L 2500/3500 HD Duramax
Description
Replace your failed outer tie rod in your 2001-2010 GM Duramax with this quality replacement from MOOG. This outer tie rod features a patented cover plate design that captures the full ball stud between the upper and lower bearings, eliminating axial clearance or lash. This design consistently produces just the right amount of preload, providing proper steering over the life of the part. Wrench flats are added for ease of installation. The tie rod housing is forged from specific materials and then heat treated, obtaining the most desirable grain structure for strength and duability. MOOG tie rods are sealed to keep dirt out and include a grease relief valve that allows debris to be flushed out when the vehicle is being serviced.
