WrenchConnected is an independent installation marketplace operating in partnership with Diesel Power Products.
After checkout, we route your vehicle info and part SKU to verified installation shops near you. Local installers review the job and submit competitive bids; you pick the shop you want based on price, reviews, and availability. Your name and email stay private until you select an installer.
You pay for the bid from your preferred shop. The full amount is shown before you confirm — installers cannot add charges without your written consent. Payments are processed securely by Stripe.
During bidding, shops see only your service ZIP code, vehicle year/make/model, and the part SKU — not your name, email, or address. Only the shop you select receives your contact details after payment. We never sell your personal information.

"what a pain to remove old downpipe but new downpipe fit perfect"
"One of the best upgrades for the LLY! Sounds great, fits great, overall great improvement!"
"I installed this on an 07 LBZ Removing the heat shield was probably the most tedious portion of this install. I elected to completely mangle the turbo heat shield by using a lady’s foot pry bar and using it like a slide hammer pulling towards the driver side headlight. This resulted in a rather easy and painless removal but also destroyed the heat shield. Some opt to run the vehicle without any heat shield but I’ve got a mishimoto heat blanket on order. Be prepared to protect yourself from the fiberglass on the firewall. The trans dipstick did get removed when It was time to pull out the old downpipe. Getting it back in was near impossible for me after the new downpipe was installed. I ended up cutting around an inch off the bottom of the dipstick and cleaning it up with a file and compressed air to get the dipstick reinstalled. Note: only one tab for the dipstick was able to be used afterwards. This is a semi common thing when installing down pipes on these trucks based on short forum searches. Overall the install went plenty smooth and none of the minor issues I ran into were to difficult to overcome. I’d conservatively plan on 4 hours for the install."
"Looks and sounds amazing. Produce arrived within a couple of days."
"looks great, sounds great, way more flow through than stock pipe. install videos looked easy but on a 2008 you would have to be an anorexic dwarf to be able to get to the top of the pipe to disconnect it from the turbo if the clamp is on the bottom. total pain! same goes for the transmission dipstick tube!"
