Description

Improve your SuperDuty's suspension with this forged 4-link kit from MaxTrac. Featuring a forged aluminum construction, this system will bolt into the stock location but deliver adjustability so you're able to properly recenter your front axle after lifting the truck. Oh yeah, they look pretty sweet too. Besides the shear fact that these forged arms will substantially increase the coolness factor of your SuperDuty, there are actual performance gains to be had. In a perfect world, control arms or radius arms would be parallel to the ground under the weight of the truck. This allows your suspension to cycle up and down in a more linear fashion compared to if your arms are pointed down at the axle, at which point the axle is going to have more "swing" in it. This pendulum action requires the coils to bow more than they are intended for, decreasing ride quality and overall suspension travel. By flattening out the arms, you'll have better up and down motion, making your truck ride better when you hit bumps, whether on or off road, as well as better cornering characteristics. And of course, if you do take your truck offroad, the upwards suspension travel will be increased and deliver more clearance at the fender.
