Wheel hop is a common problem on many trucks, even at stock power levels. When the tires begin hopping under acceleration, it can lead to broken driveshafts, damaged axle pinion yokes, premature U-joint wear, and added stress on suspension components. It also reduces traction since the tires are not maintaining consistent contact with the pavement. The Longhorn Fab Shop Professional Grade Universal Traction Bars are designed to help address these issues with a heavy-duty solution built for demanding use. These Professional Grade traction bars feature massive 2-inch steel construction that is twice the thickness of Longhorn Fab Shop's standard bars. The universal mounting design allows the frame brackets to be bolted onto C-channel frames or welded onto boxed frames, while the rear axle tabs are designed to fit most axles. Nylon-injected, oil-impregnated races originally designed for BAJA trucks and NASCAR applications provide long, service-free, and rattle-free life, while the turnbuckle design allows easy alignment and suspension preload adjustment without removing the bars. Each kit includes Professional Grade traction bars, laser-cut CNC-bent brackets, Grade 8 hardware, and is proudly manufactured in the USA!
