Description
One of the issues with the OBS Powestrokes is their factory fuel system, and the inability to easily add fueling upgrades. Fortunately, Irate Diesel Performance builds this complete regulated return system with everything you need for a complete installation and will support up to a 250/200 set of injectors for maximum performance!This system is from the selector valve forward to retain both tanks. System installs from the selector valve forward so it still uses both tanks, and comes with everything needed to install including the hardline regulated return, this is a COMPLETE fuel system. This system DELETES the fuel bowl and gets rid of the pesky leaks associated with the stock fuel bowl and has way better filtration. This system will support anything from stock up to a 250/200 injector or 550-600RWHP. If wanting to run larger, then pressure needs to be monitored to ensure proper pressures are maintained. This system uses a pre-pump screen filter that is serviceable before the pump to maximize flow to the pump and prevent starvation at the pump. From there it goes through a water separator filter then the final filter to prevent any contaminants getting to you engine! IMPORTANT NOTES: Draw straw pictured is not used on the OBS system Turbo will have to be removed/slid over to get the drivers side higher flowing fitting in the head on the 94-97 trucks. This fuel pump SHOULD NOT BE LOUD, if you find after installation that the pump is noisy it is more than likely a restriction pre-pump causing it. These trucks are 20+ years old and the issue with their old fuel tanks can cause restrictions making the pump noisy. The issues can be, but are not limited to, the fuel selector valve not functioning fully and or the in tank pick up becoming clogged/broken.

"Installed on a '95 f350. came with plenty of hose, and pretty easy to install since I had everything out already to replace my up pipes. clearance is tight by the turbo inlet boot, but clears. Was not paying attention to my fuel tank getting low and started to get a studder from the truck, switched tanks and the electric fuel pump cleared the air from the lines and kept me going without hesitation. Wouldn't hesitate putting on another truck."

Q&A

When installing the #6 JIC fittings you say to use a thread sealant, what sealant did you suggest works best?
Loctite has a thread sealant that works very well. Or Permatex thread sealer with PTFE.
I pretty much have a stock motor, will this help with my starting issues in the Colorado winters? I also travel into Central America with this truck and Want to make sure That what ever I put on it that it is the most reliable system I could possibly get. Any recommendations? Thanks Andy
It is a very reliable system yes. It will definitely help starting a little, a lot of starting issues one those truck are not due to fuel delivery though.

Is it recommended to have an in cab fuel pressure gauge with this kit
It is not a bad idea especially to catch any potential problems. But not required by any means. Once you set that regulator you shouldn't ever have to worry about it.
Do we need to also install upgraded banjo bolts with the kit?
No, this kit is a complete kit that includes everything you need for installation.
